Overview
We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to join our pharmaceutical construction project team. This role will ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the construction phase of our new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs for construction activities
2. Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments on construction sites
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
4. Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for construction crews
5. Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions
6. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams
7. Maintain safety documentation and reporting systems
8. Monitor environmental compliance including waste management and air quality
9. Provide guidance on pharmaceutical industry-specific construction requirements
Qualifications
Required
10. Bachelor's degree in HSE related field
11. 5+ years of EHS experience in construction environments
12. 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry construction
13. Strong knowledge of GMP requirements for facility construction
14. Experience with hazardous materials handling and containment systems
15. Excellent communication and training skills
16. Proficiency in EHS management software and reporting tools
Preferred
17. Professional EHS certifications
18. Experience with cleanroom construction and validation
19. Knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment installation
20. Familiarity with pharmaceutical construction standards
