You will join a Data Center of Excellence within a large, enterprise-scale organization that treats data and AI as strategic assets. The team operates a modern, cloud-native data platform and actively supports multiple AI initiatives across the organization. This role combines hands-on engineering, platform ownership, and contribution to governance and security in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Extend, maintain, and evolve a cloud-based data platform built on Databricks and Microsoft Azure
* Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines supporting analytics and AI use cases
* Act as technical owner for Azure AI services, supporting deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management
* Contribute to data governance, security, and compliance across the platform
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI and data initiatives
* Provide technical guidance on architecture, tooling, and AI service usage
* Maintain clear technical documentation for data and AI infrastructure components
What are we looking for?
* You have
3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
in production environments
* You have strong experience designing and maintaining
data pipelines and ETL processes
* You bring advanced skills in
Python
and
SQL
for data processing and analytics
* You have hands-on experience with
Azure AI services
, including AI Search, OpenAI services, and document processing
* You have solid experience managing and operating workloads on
Microsoft Azure
* You have working experience with
Infrastructure as Code
, specifically
Terraform
* You are fluent in
English
and fluent in
Dutch or French
(professional proficiency in both spoken and written communication)
