🚀 Hiring: Technical Lead (Java) – Expert | Belgium
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (Java) to join a Center of Expertise for Application Development & Maintenance within a leading banking/financial services environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Define, document, and drive adoption of Java development guidelines and best practices
* Coach and mentor development teams across Agile tribes
* Provide hands-on technical leadership with active involvement in development
* Ensure alignment with Architecture, Infrastructure, Risk & Security stakeholders
* Act as technical representative in change management and group initiatives
* Promote DevOps, cloud, and secure-by-design practices
* Animate and contribute to the developers’ Community of Practice
🔹 Required Experience & Skills
* 5+ years of experience as Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead
* Strong expertise in Java, DevOps, and cloud technologies
* Solid understanding of software architecture and secure development
* Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
* English required + French or Dutch
