Due to continued investment in commercial growth, the business is looking for a
high-impact Business Development Manager
to drive new client acquisition across air and ocean freight.

pure hunting role
— ideal for someone who thrives on opening doors, building a pipeline from scratch, and winning new business in a competitive market.
Your Role
You will take full ownership of
new business development across Belgium, targeting mid-to-large customers across key sectors such as industrial, pharma, and high-tech.
Key responsibilities:
Proactively identify and win
new customers
(no inherited accounts)
Build and manage a strong
sales pipeline
Sell tailored
air & ocean freight solutions, including multimodal offerings
Lead the full sales cycle:
Prospecting
Client meetings
Solution design
Negotiation and closing
Collaborate closely with pricing, operations, and implementation teams
Your Profile
5–10+ years’ experience in
freight forwarding (air & ocean)
Proven track record in
new business development (hunter mentality)
Strong commercial drive and resilience
Comfortable xphnsxz working autonomously and being
on the road
Existing network in Belgium / Benelux is a strong advantage
What’s on Offer
€4,000 – €6,000 gross/month
Performance bonus (typically
10–20%+, with strong upside)
