Integration .NET Developer – Insurance Industry
Location: Brussels (Hybrid, 50% onsite)
Languages: Dutch & English (both required)
Work Mode: 2–3 days onsite, remainder remote
About the Role
A leading organization in the insurance sector is seeking an Integration .NET Developer to strengthen their IT integration team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration solutions that connect various systems within the enterprise landscape. The focus is on building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications and APIs to ensure seamless data flow across business platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions using .NET technologies.
* Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Design and build APIs and services to integrate internal and external systems.
* Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices.
* Collaborate in a hybrid environment, coordinating with both onsite and remote teams.
* Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations to enhance performance and reliability.
* Document technical designs and solutions to ensure long-term maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) development, including integration-focused projects.
* Experience with API development (REST, SOAP) and service-oriented architectures.
* Familiarity with middleware, messaging systems, and enterprise service buses.
* Knowledge of SQL databases and data integration patterns.
* Previous experience in large-scale, enterprise IT environments.
* Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Understanding of security standards and best practices for integrations.
