Ph3Function /h3 pWe are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team in Vilvoorde, Belgium. /p pAs Legal Counsel for Belgium, your primary goal will be to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks relating to real estate development projects, including infrastructure, power connection, and renewable energy initiatives, with a strong focus on energy and construction law. /p pKey responsibilities include: /p ul liDrafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing agreements and legal documents for data centre and light industrial/logistics projects, including energy, power, grid connection, PV installations, PPAs, EV charging infrastructure, battery installations, waste heat use, and wind energy. /li liStaying updated on relevant laws, regulations, case law, and industry trends, and proactively advising the organisation on potential legal risks and opportunities. /li liEnsuring compliance with company policies, standards, and values, and training the Belgian team on legal and compliance matters. /li liCoordinating with and managing external law firms efficiently and at fair cost. /li liHandling legal disputes and litigation coordination. /li liCollaborating closely with other Legal Counsels in Continental Europe, as well as the Belgium/Netherlands business and the wider European team. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pDo you have a bMaster’s degree in Law /b, are fully qualified bin Belgium /b as a lawyer (attorney or in‑house counsel), and have at least b6 years of proven experience /b as a Legal Counsel or in a similar role within a company or law firm?
