R&D4 EE2 Telematics Team
Electronics Engineering – R&D4 – Telematics. Our team develops and evaluates telematics systems including the Data Communication Module (DCM). We develop testing tools, run evaluations, and support connectivity testing for future Toyota models across Europe.
Your project
1. Develop a Diagnostics‑over‑IP (DoIP) communication layer for a lightweight diagnostic tool
2. Implement ECU functions and services for UDS over IP communication
3. Build and validate Python‑based modules for DoIP and extend current capabilities of AutoPi tool.
4. Analyse differences between DoCAN/DoIP
5. Document architecture, implementation, testing steps
6. Additional goals include automotive ethernet logging functionality
Your Profile
7. You are fluent in English
8. You are studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering or similar
9. You have interest in automotive communication technologies
10. You know the basics of Python, UDS and automotive ethernet
11. You enjoy hands‑on testing, data analysis and structured problem solving
12. You are curious, willing to learn and comfortable exploring new tools autonomously
