My Brussels based client are looking for someone to carry out the following project over the course of a (minimum) 2 year freelance contract.
* Set up modelling platform to and then use it to model energy scenarios
* Greenfield – completely new platform, nothing there currently
* May include mentoring more junior profiles eventually
Requirements:
* Hands on Modelling Experience (ideally in Python – coding & testing)
* PyPSA (Python for Power System Analysis - an open-source Python framework for optimizing modern power systems with renewable energy, storage, and multi-sector coupling) or similar.
* Open to work on greenfield projects
* Independent
What skills are beneficial and would make someone stand out?
* Energy Sector knowledge
* Experience in setting up similar environments
Duration: 2 years initially
Rate: €550-€650 per day DOE
Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite per week
