For a complex and evolving IT environment, we are looking for an experienced freelance ServiceNow Business / Functional Analyst to help professionalize and internally integrate the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with the ServiceNow Platform Owner and multiple internal and external stakeholders to bring the platform to the next level — both strategically and operationally. Practical Information Start date: ASAP - long term mission Location: Antwerp Workload: 50% to start, with the possibility to evolve into a full-time role within one year (depending on needs) Remote work: Up to 50%, in agreement with the client Languages: Dutch & English (both fluently) Profile Senior freelance Business / Functional Analyst with proven ServiceNow experience Demonstrated experience in building and executing a ServiceNow roadmap Hands-on mindset with the ability to translate strategy into concrete actions Strong stakeholder management and change management skills Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and/or SecOps Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM is a major asset Fluent in Dutch and English Availability: 50% initially, with flexibility to scale up if required Context The organization operates a central ServiceNow platform supporting multiple business units. Mission Objectives Optimize the existing ServiceNow landscape Further develop and structure the CMDB, including the implementation and adoption of the CSDM framework Responsibilities Platform Roadmap & Governance Collaborate with the Platform Owner, CMDB expert and consultants to define and maintain a clear, prioritized ServiceNow roadmap Translate business objectives into concrete ServiceNow initiatives Advise on ServiceNow governance best practices Analysis & Delivery Define epics and develop detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Monitor scope, quality and feasibility Challenge critical decisions regarding scope, estimates and technical choices Stakeholder & Change Management Actively collaborate with business and IT stakeholders Support change management and platform adoption Clearly define roles and responsibilities around platform management and data ownership Promote CMDB adoption and data quality Provide guidance and knowledge transfer when needed
