As a
Logistical Field Representative (LFR)
, you are the key link between Airbus, the Ministry of Defense, and NHV. You act as the face of the organisation for all matters related to the logistical chain, ensuring smooth coordination, flawless execution, and strong customer relationships throughout the lifecycle of the support services.
You will be responsible for the follow-up and correct execution of contractor support services, including (but not limited to) pre-positioned stock, customer stock, and Repair & Overhaul (R&O) items. In this role, you combine operational logistics expertise with stakeholder management and contractual awareness.
Key responsibilities
In-Service Support
* Ensure timely stock replenishment in line with contractual agreements
* Coordinate pickup and on-time delivery of R&O items according to maintenance planning
* Manage contractor pre-positioned stock and customer stock, including life-limited items
* Update and replenish Deployment Kits in coordination with the end user
* Participate in logistical management meetings
* Manage critical spare parts and support contractual performance reporting
Customer Relationship
* Act as the first point of contact for the Ministry of Defense
* Operate within the contractual framework and ensure compliant execution
* Represent the cooperation in a professional and customer-focused manner
Reporting & Coordination
* Report contractual activities to the Contract Manager in a timely manner
* Follow up on logistical issues and escalate when necessary
* Coordinate with Customer CAMO to ensure adequate spares and exchange item planning
* Report to the Store & Logistics Manager
What you bring
* Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in a supply chain or logistical role
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in aviation MRO
* Experience is working with Airbus Helicopter is a plus
* Experience with customer relations
* Valid European car driver's license
* ICT literate (MS Office)
* Basic understanding of Part-145 and CAMO regulations
* Languages:
* English: fluent in understanding – writing – speaking is a must
* Knowledge of Dutch and French language is an advantage
* Strong logistical coordination and follow-up skills
* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a contractual environment
* A proactive, structured, and customer-focused mindset
* Clear communication skills and a high sense of responsibility
* You live within driving distance to the Beauvechain base

You will receive an internal training course by the logistics department.
You'll be working a 38-hour week from Monday to Friday.
This role may also include standby duties and occasional travel to our Ostend offices.
