About the role
This role is pivotal in driving initiatives to minimize inefficiencies, boost productivity, and enhance operational agility across multiple sites. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, applying Lean methodologies to address and resolve issues swiftly. The position requires a proactive approach to collaboration with various departments, fostering a strong quality culture. You have a proven track record in operational excellence and process improvement within the aerospace, automotive, defense, or similar fields.
Key responsibilities
* Lead diverse teams in applying Lean methodologies for effective root cause analysis
* Spearhead efforts to eliminate waste and reduce response times by 50% or more
* Form and lead a rapid-response team to streamline client concern handling
* Fast-track acquisition of new accreditations and uphold a progressive culture
* Implement new organizational frameworks and cultivate a problem-solving mindset
About you
* Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
* Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects
* Expertise in Lean methodologies and 8D/9S Problem Solving
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Familiarity with certification processes and quality management systems
* Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems is highly beneficial
