The Work
As a Sales Excellence Senior Bid Manager, you will manage deal teams throughout the entire bid lifecycle. You will use your sales process knowledge to ensure the right resources are engaged in preparing, developing, and negotiating bids that meet and exceed client requirements. You will work closely with colleagues from Accenture BeLux Health and Public Service (H&PS) practice, proposal managers, writers, solution architects, sales leads, senior management, and subject-matter experts from across Accenture. The H&PS practice helps public sector organizations embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter and deliver improved citizen services.
You Will
* Understand clients’ needs and work with deal leadership to define value propositions, win strategies, and messages
* Determine expertise needed to develop compelling offers and plan resources accordingly
* Drive bid activities and facilitate communication across teams and workstreams
* Build and nurture positive relationships within the deal team and with clients
* Seek opportunities to optimize the bid management process and tools
* Develop yourself and others through continuous learning and knowledge sharing
* Manage a small team of bid management staff
* Coordinate public procurement procedures for EU and other public sector clients
* Coordinate with third-party vendors and consortium partners
* Support pre- and post-sales initiatives, including opportunity identification and win/loss reviews
What You Need
* Bachelor’s degree
* Minimum of 8 years in similar work
* Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders collaboratively
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
* Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written)
Extra Credit
* Fluent in French (oral and written)
* MBA or similar degree
* Experience with sales, negotiations, pipeline management, deal qualification, design thinking, and related concepts
* Understanding of outsourcing, system integration, strategy & consulting, cloud, security, or related trends
* Experience in professional services industry and large, complex opportunities
Other Requirements
* Flexibility with work hours
* Good internet and a distraction-free environment for remote work
* Occasional travel may be required
