We're looking for an AI Conversation Designer for one of our clients' teams.
What are your responsibilities?
* Design and optimize conversational flows for chatbots, voice assistants, and multimodal interfaces.
* Create and maintain conversation design systems, dialogue patterns, and persona frameworks.
* Define tone of voice and personality guidelines for AI assistants.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to improve conversational experiences.
* Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enhance natural language understanding and agentic capabilities.
* Design inclusive, natural, and multi-turn interactions that work across diverse users and channels.
* Implement analytics and KPIs to measure the success of conversations.
* Build and document conversation maps and user journeys.
* Prototype and test conversational scenarios for clarity, empathy, and efficiency.
* Work with Business and UX Service Designers to integrate conversational touchpoints in customer journeys.
* Define agentic flows where AI predicts user intent, collaborates with humans, and solves issues proactively.
What are your qualifications?
* 3+ years' experience designing conversational interfaces, chatbots, or AI-driven experiences.
* Expertise in tools like Voiceflow, Botpress, or Dialogflow.
* Strong writing and UX interaction skills, with attention to tone and emotional context.
* Basic UX design skills and familiarity with digital collaboration tools (FigJam, Miro, Mural).
* Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and evaluating conversation success.
* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coach teams effectively.
* Background in UX, behavioural design, or growth hacking.
* Familiarity with AI-powered products, assistants, and enterprise software.
* Experience with agentic design, adaptive AI, or human-AI collaboration.
* Customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Dutch or French.
