Freelance Solution Architect (Integration and API)
The Role
Close collaboration with the Shared Service Integration (SSI) team to build out the integration platforms (API management, MQ, MFT, iPaaS, BPA, job scheduling) and apply them correctly in the solution architectures.
Responsibilities
* Align priorities within the architecture team and SSI, in accordance with commitments made.
* Actively participate in daily scrums, PI planning, demos and sync meetings of the SSI team.
* Participate in team meetings and communities of practice around (solution) architecture.
* Drafting solution architectures for the integration platforms, and contributing to solution architectures that use these platforms.
* Define the functional and non-functional requirements for integration platforms and their application within solution architectures.
* Contribute to the creation of architectural guidance (guardrails and patterns) for the correct use of integration platforms.
* Active role in the validation of solution architectures through the Architecture Governance Board (AGB).
* Coaching SSI team members in the design and development of integration platforms.
* Guidance solution architects on the correct use of integration platforms in new solution architectures, according to the architectural guidance.
Background
* Minimum 8 years of experience in the field;
* Demonstrable experience in a similar position;
* Analytically strong and a broad technological knowledge;
* Strong communication skills, both towards management, IT teams and business teams;
* Experience with ArchiMate;
* Experience in the financial sector;
* Experience with enterprise-grade integration platforms (API management, API gateway, API security, MQ, MFT, iPaaS, BPA, job scheduling)
* Experience with a hybrid cloud infrastructure where integration platforms are both on-premise and in cloud (Azure);
