About the team:
The Service Asset & Configuration Management team was created to ensure that our IT teams can work with reliable data about our IT assets. That data is stored in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in ServiceNow and our team manages processes and delivers tools to support that mission.
About the role:
As the Senior Service Asset & Configuration Management Specialist (ServiceNow) at Euroclear, with overall accountability for ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB operations, you will be responsible for communicating and collaboration with internal stakeholders to align ITOM strategics and business outcomes.
You will lead several ITOM initiatives and ensure proper delivery and quality of the asset and configuration management data and process as well as promoting its significance within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Update and maintain CMDBs, Asset Management Databases and other asset/configuration management repositories in a complex IT environment
2. Build solutions around data certifications for maintaining CI sanity
3. Identify and track CIs, implementing change control and account for discovered/manual CIs
4. Manage CMDB health to support Assets and Configuration and CI relationships
5. Work with process owners to understand the process requirements related to the capture of configuration data and develop technical specifications and solutions
6. Work closely with various stakeholders to provide guidance in the management of CI's and the relationships between them
7. Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects to understand IT technology strategy that guide which requirements need to be gathered
8. Work with Application Owners and stakeholders to perform gap analysis and provide solution.
Requirements:
9. Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM, specifically in Discovery and CMDB
10. A proven history of maintaining a robust CMDB aligned with industry best practices
11. Experience in implementing ServiceNow Service Mapping and other ITOM features
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
13. Minimum of bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB
Nice to have:
14. Knowledge of ITIL
15. Experience in managing virtual resources and relationships with various divisions, entities and service partners
16. Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level
17. Very good organizational skills (ability to manage several topics in parallel)
18. Ability to deal with conflicting priorities
19. Flexibility to manage changes

21. Workshops facilitation and leadership to align with all stakeholders
