We’re looking for a Junior Support Engineer to join our client’s dynamic IT environment and make an immediate impact. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for end‑user support, ensuring systems and applications run smoothly across multiple locations. You’ll work within a close‑knit team responsible for device rollout, configuration, and migration projects, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced and large‑scale setting.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving IT operations:
* Configure, update, and maintain workstations, software, and peripherals
* Ensure optimal performance of Windows 10/11 environments and standard business applications
* Support large‑scale Windows 11 deployments using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or Ivanti
* Assist with user account management and access rights (e.g., Active Directory)
* Provide first‑line IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary
* Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
* Collaborate with IT teams to enhance overall service delivery
Profile – The Ideal Candidate
* An IT‑related degree or initial experience in an IT support role
* Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 in enterprise environments
* Basic experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts
* Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset
* Analytical thinking and a proactive problem‑solving attitude
* Ability to prioritize tasks and remain effective under pressure
* Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English (French is a plus)
Engagement Details
* Flexible engagement of approximately 10 working days per month
* Project duration of 4 months (June through September)
* June will serve as an onboarding and training period to ensure a smooth start
