In this role, you will assist in chip preparation, fluidic setup assembly, buffer preparation, and perform routine measurements to support cutting-edge experiments
Your responsibilities include:
1. Preparing test chips, including cleaning and pre-treatment steps such as UV and plasma exposure.
2. Assembling experimental setups by carefully connecting flow cells, electrodes, and microfluidic tubing.
3. Performing routine nanopore measurements using specialized equipment and software, under supervision, while ensuring data quality and protocol compliance.
4. Providing general laboratory support, including maintenance of materials and equipment to ensure efficient daily operations.
Wat wij van jou vragen:
5. You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related field. - Solid knowledge and lab safety practices.
6. You have a first practical experience with lab techniques, including proficient use of micropipettes.
7. You are comfortable performing precise, repetitive tasks and handling fragile components.
8. You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently after training.
9. You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
