Medior OT Security Engineer
We are supporting a specialised industrial cybersecurity consultancy that delivers OT security solutions directly within client environments.
This role is designed for engineers who want to grow their expertise in OT cybersecurity while working hands‑on in a dynamic, delivery-focused environment. You will contribute to the deployment and integration of OT security technologies for large, complex industrial organisations, supported by experienced senior engineers and subject‑matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze OT architectures and infrastructures (e.g. SCADA, DCS, IIoT) from a cybersecurity perspective
* Support the design, deployment, and integration of OT security solutions, with a focus on:
o Network Monitoring
o Secure Remote Access
o Participate in OT security technology deployments as part of broader security transformation programs
* Work closely with senior engineers to ensure high‑quality implementation and effective knowledge transfer
* Contribute to improving OT security controls, processes, and technical documentation during deployments
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
* Strong enthusiasm for technology and a clear motivation to continuously expand technical skills
* Genuine interest in OT environments and cybersecurity
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Basic understanding of network fundamentals and network security
* Ability to write technical and non-technical documentation for audiences ranging from automation engineers to senior security or operations stakeholders
Nice to have
* Knowledge of Linux and basic scripting
* Experience in a professional services or consulting environment
