This Belgian firm offers specialized services to large pension funds and combines the agility of an SME with the strength of a major financial partner. You’ll join a team that values expertise, innovation, and quality. Your Role As an Accountant, you’ll manage the end-to-end accounting of several pension funds. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing full accounting processes through to year-end closings. Preparing statutory filings (FSMA, NBB), annual accounts, General Assembly materials, and reports to the Board. Analyzing and processing financial data while resolving issues in collaboration with clients and actuaries. Maintaining close communication with clients—mainly multinationals and major Belgian firms. Contributing to the implementation of futureproof accounting systems adapted to pension fund needs. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in a highly regulated environment. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fiduciary or general ledger role. Curious and motivated to explore the unique world of pension fund accounting. Eager to grow into a client-facing expert role. Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented. Able to give sound advice on client files. Responsible and capable of working autonomously.
