Role: Enterprise Architect
VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Expert Enterprise Architect to work from the European Commission.

The role
Description Of The Tasks
* Provide guidance and support related to system architecture and system processes with the contractor and stakeholders mentioned in chapter 1.
* Support interoperability between SKPT and EURES/Europass.
* Define a strategy to gain efficiency in IT operations for the project.
* Prepare and maintain architecture design and technical documentation.
* Coordinate and review current system processes.
* Participate in workshops and meetings with external stakeholders.
* Assist with evaluation of systems to identify discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
* Interact with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and developers.
* Analyze the integration of different information systems; conduct data analysis and data modeling.
* Coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture and act as technical interface between project leaders and developers.
* Produce software architecture documents and participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and user meetings.
* Provide assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
* Create designs and blueprints of cloud architecture; review existing architectures for cloud migration.
* Design and develop architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
Knowledge and Skills
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and COBIT.
* Knowledge of Archimate and Semantic technologies.
* Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-based architecture.
* AI and Machine Learning integration, architecture governance framework and MLOps.
* Ability to respond to unexpected events efficiently and to present to business and technical audiences.
* Ability to apply high quality standards and cope with fast-changing technologies in the SKPT project.
* Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to write clear and structured technical documents; participate in technical meetings.
Specific Expertise
* Ability to cope with fast-changing technologies in application architecture and design.
* Ability to give technical presentations and apply high quality standards.
* Semantic Web Stack: RDF/OWL processing with Apache Jena, SPARQL, triple stores (GraphDB, Apache Fuseki) and semantic reasoning engines.
* At least 10 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools.
* Practical expertise in system vulnerability assessment.
Certifications & Standards
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* Google Professional Cloud Architect.
* Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
* ITIL foundation certification; Cloud and Enterprise architecture certification is a plus.
Requirements
You have a master’s degree.
