PpERM is looking for a driven, hands‑on Consultant to join the Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation (LPMR) team in Antwerp. You will work on interesting site investigation, risk assessment and complex soil and groundwater remediation projects throughout Belgium and possibly abroad, for a variety of industrial clients. /ppAbout the service you will offer to our clients: ERM’s LPMR Service is aimed at helping clients resolve environmental liabilities and realise maximum value from their contaminated land challenges. We develop risk‑based soil and groundwater remediation strategies to protect human health and ecology, whilst satisfying our clients’ business goals and meeting regulatory obligations. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliWork in collaboration with other (senior) consultants and partners in international teams to deliver contaminated site management projects from investigation until remediation. /liliDepending on project size and complexity, manage entire projects or support senior project managers with proposal writing, project planning and delivery. /liliConduct environmental fieldwork, ambient air and soil gas sampling; oversee subcontractors during soil drilling and installation, and operations and maintenance of remediation systems. /liliScope Areas include PhaseI and PhaseII environmental assessments, vapour intrusion investigation, remediation feasibility studies and pilot testing, preparation of remedial action plans, bid documents and technical specifications, and implementation of full‑scale remediation projects. /liliCoordinate laboratory services and interpret/visualise environmental data. /liliDraft technical reports, recommend appropriate actions to meet client objectives and comply with regulations. /liliEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meeting the client’s objectives. /liliCommunicate with all project stakeholders (peers, clients, managers, subcontractors, regulators). /liliPerform health and safety planning and oversight: ensure the safety of oneself and team members during project operations. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBSc or MSc degree in an environmental discipline such as bio‑engineering, earth sciences, environmental sciences, physical geography, hydrology/hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry, chemistry or similar. /lili3 to 7 years’ experience as an environmental consultant or managing projects as a remediation contractor. /liliNative Flemish/Dutch speaker; highly proficient in English (written and spoken); French is a plus. /liliDriven, eager‑to‑learn, open communicator, proactive in tackling problems and providing solutions. /liliThrives in a collaborative working environment but can work independently. /liliEffective written and verbal communication, organisation and analytical skills. /liliHigh appreciation and understanding of Health Safety requirements while undertaking environmental field works, including following established Health Safety protocols. /liliWorking knowledge of Flemish contaminated land legislation and of soil and groundwater remediation techniques; eagerness to stay current with latest developments in the field. /liliWillingness to travel for work from time to time (typically 5 consecutive nights). /liliDriving licence B. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
