The QA Engineer – AI-Driven Test Automation is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for building and maintaining intelligent test automation across the execution technology stack.
The role focuses on leveraging AI-driven testing approaches and modern automation frameworks to ensure system quality, reliability, and performance, with minimal reliance on manual testing.
Working closely with Development, Trading, Product, and Platform teams, the engineer will contribute to validating low-latency trading systems, including backend services, APIs, and front-end user interfaces.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain automated test suites for backend services, APIs, and front-end UI components.
•Build and enhance AI-assisted or AI-agent-based testing workflows (e.g., test generation, self-healing tests).
•Automate end-to-end trading flows, including order lifecycle and market connectivity scenarios.
•Contribute to reducing manual testing by improving test coverage, stability, and automation efficiency.
•Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
•Work closely with developers to ensure testability and quality are built into systems from the start.
•Write and maintain regression, integration, and functional test suites.
•Assist in performance and stability testing of low-latency systems.
•Investigate defects and production issues and contribute to automated regression coverage.
•Participate in code reviews and quality discussions within the team.
Skills:
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
▪Proficiency in Java (preferred) or Python, with ability to build and maintain test frameworks.
▪Experience testing REST APIs, messaging systems, and distributed services.
▪Experience automating modern web UIs, including handling asynchronous behaviour and dynamic components.
▪Familiarity with AI tools or agents for test generation, maintenance, or optimisation.
▪Experience integrating tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
