Description
You will act as the expert in entertainment metadata, which supports our Electronic Program Guide and On-Demand services. You will make sure metadata and video ingestion processes run efficiently, so customers can find and enjoy content easily on our TV platform.
Your tasks as our Specialist
* Become the domain expert. You will become a specialist in metadata and video ingest/aggregation. Also understanding all complexities of matching, validating, and delivering high-quality data to partners and customers.
* Work with partners. Collaborate with content partners to discuss integration solutions, resolve issues, and monitor data quality.
* Design solutions. Translate business requirements into technical solution designs in cooperation with architects.
* Advise on functional fit and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions. And be aware of technological evolutions and define best fit.
* Build integrations. Define and follow-up on solutions for API integration with partners and vendors.
* Continuously improve. Identify opportunities to enhance metadata solutions and define (AI-based) tools for quality control and reporting.
* Be the Single Point of Contact for operational teams.

Your profile as our Specialist
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
* Broad technical foundation with up-to-date knowledge of evolving technologies.
* Previous experience in metadata management, API integration, or similar technical roles is a plus.
* Knowledge of database technologies (SQL-based and document-based models), including defining setups and storage/retrieval models.
* Strong ability to document and explain solution designs clearly.
* Knowledge of microservice-based architectures, communication protocols, network infrastructure, and front-end tooling.
* Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud)
* Ability to define cost-effective solutions.
* You are able to express yourself clearly to present to both technical and business stakeholders.
* Ability to develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and experiment with new technologies
* Familiar with tools/frameworks for monitoring and visualizing metrics and telemetry data (ELK, Grafana, …)
