Responsibilities:
Transport Coordination: Manage the transport process from start to finish, including planning and organizing trucks for the transportation of goods.
Documentation: Prepare and verify transport documents, such as CMRs, truck manifests, and customs documentation.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for drivers, carriers, and clients; maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical issues that may arise during transportation.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations related to transport and logistics.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in logistics, transport management, or a related field is required.
Experience: Proven experience in the logistics sector, preferably in a role as a freight forwarder or transport planner.
Languages: Good command of Dutch, French, and English is a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
Process Improvement Focus: Strong interest and experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within transport operations.
Stress Resistance: The environment is fast-paced and unpredictable so remaining calm under pressure and managing priorities effectively is important in this role.
Computer Skills: Good knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems is an asset.
Customer Focus: Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
Flexible Work Mentality: A degree of flexibility is expected, particularly during peak operational times or when urgent issues arise.
