Primary Purpose of the PositionThe aim of the maintenance team is to keep the installed equipment 100% operational and minimize the amount of downtime under the respect of Goodyear safety standards, focusing on cost effectiveness and at expected quality.Part of the maintenance team, the electromechanics technician is in charge to perform preventive maintenance and curative maintenance. He/she helps troubleshoot and quickly repair any mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical problems that are linked to the operation processes. He/she also support other competency like Facility, Calibration and Engineering (helping to guarantee the continuity of the equipment and systems).Perform machinery, test and building equipment repair, modification and preventive maintenance (mechanics, controls & facility).
Report and document problems and maintenance actions on equipment.
Prepare and provide test & process equipment.
Propose and participate to the continuous improvement of the test equipment and facilities.
Actively participate in housekeeping of PEL maintenance premises.
Support engineering team during new equipment selection/definition.
To join our team, you will need: Bachelor of science in Electromechanical/Mechatronics with experience is desired.
Languages
Fluency in French is required.
Fluency in English is desired.
5 years' experience in relevant environment, ideally automotive industry.
