The finance organization plays a key role as a business partner, supporting strategic decisions and ensuring sustainable performance. To reinforce this vision, we are recruiting a Head of Controlling to lead the controlling activities for Belgium and the Netherlands.
Job Description
As Head of Controlling, you will:
* Lead and develop a team of 6 controllers, including one based in the Netherlands.
* Oversee financial controlling activities for Belgium and the Netherlands, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards.
* Act as a business partner to senior management, providing financial insights and supporting decision-making.
* Drive the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Optimize controlling tools, processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Provide leadership on performance monitoring (KPIs, variance analysis, profitability studies).
* Participate actively in transversal projects within the finance department and with other functions.
The Successful Applicant
* Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in controlling or finance, ideally in FMCG, manufacturing, or an international matrix environment.
* Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in managing and developing teams.
* Excellent analytical mindset combined with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
* Business partnering skills: able to challenge and support operational and strategic decisions.
* Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus).
