Senior Business Analyst – Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Role Overview:
For a respected client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a key transformation program migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This position sits firmly on the business side of the project, acting as the critical link between business stakeholders and the implementation team. The focus is on driving process improvements and ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business analysis activities within the Business Central migration program
Engage with stakeholders across Finance and Supply Chain to gather and refine requirements
Analyse current processes and define optimized future-state workflows
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications
Drive process standardization across Finance Operations and SCM
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions
Collaborate with IT and system integrators while maintaining a strong business focus
Support testing activities (UAT) and business readiness
Contribute to change management and user adoption
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in ERP transformation programs
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
In-depth knowledge of Finance Operations (GL, AP, AR, reporting)
Solid experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes
Strong business-facing profile (not purely IT-focused)
Experience with process optimization and process mapping
Exposure to Business Central configuration is a strong plus
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
