As a General Manager, you are responsible for the strategic, operational and administrative management of the subsidiary, ensuring alignment with the group's overall objectives, resource optimisation, sustainable performance and regulatory compliance. You lead teams, projects and partnerships to develop the business, strengthen competitiveness and promote a culture of excellence, innovation and commitment, while representing the subsidiary to internal and external stakeholders. The first six months to a full year will be spent at the head office in Belgium before moving to the subsidiary in Atlanta. Responsabilities Define the subsidiary’s objectives and action plans in line with the Group’s overall objectives Inform and advise management on issues, risks, constraints and opportunities related to local specificities in order to inform decision-making and anticipate impacts on the organisation, ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor results, analyse discrepancies, and adjust action plans accordingly Prepare and present regular reports to head office, highlighting financial performance, market trends and operational updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with Group objectives Define, monitor and optimise the subsidiary’s budget, ensuring efficient resource management Develop and maintain trusting relationships with existing and potential customers, partners, investors and suppliers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty Develop and maintain a strong professional network in order to seize new opportunities, strengthen the company’s reputation and promote strategic partnerships Oversee and coordinate all branch activities to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of operations Lead expansion projects: creation of new departments, process optimisation, etc Adapt company strategies, policies and processes to comply with local regulations and align with cultural sensitivities, ensuring effective implementation and minimising risk Be a driving force behind a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, innovation and risk reduction within the organisation Develop a corporate culture that promotes engagement, fairness, inclusion and well-being at work Strengthen inter-group synergy by working closely with other entities within the company to harmonise projects, processes and priorities Ensure the consistent and compliant application of HR processes, in accordance with legal and social obligations and the company’s internal policy Unite all teams around the defined strategy and objectives Ensure regular evaluation and development of the team Actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of team members Support team leaders in their management of staff and in the resolution of individual and collective conflicts.
