The Strategic & Prospective Studies Department is tasked with collecting, analysing and distributing information relating to the development of the energy market in general and with monitoring Fluxys'' positioning in the energy transition. It is also responsible for drafting our strategy document for Fluxys shareholders and coordinating the strategic and prospective studies carried out by Fluxys.
The Strategic & Prospective Studies Department at our offices in Brussels is looking for a Press Review Analyst (m/f/x).
Your responsibilities:
Fluxys contributes to a better society by shaping a sustainable energy future. This involves developing the infrastructure needed for transporting low carbon energy carriers, such as green hydrogen and biogas, while contributing to security of energy supply in Belgium and in the countries where we operate.
These simultaneous challenges raise questions to which citizens, industry and regulators are trying to provide answers. Change is happening daily: new projects announced, new regulations, geopolitical developments and more. Fluxys must know what is happening in order to refine its strategic direction.
Our Press Review Analysts are Fluxys'' ''eyes and ears'', responsible for informing our colleagues of these developments and extracting key information.
As a Press Review Analyst, you will:
* Collect and analyse commercial, political and economic information disseminated by the Belgian and international general and specialist media so you can draft our daily and weekly press reviews
* Draft (either on your own initiative or when requested to do so) analyses of the latest developments in the energy transition and establish company profiles
* Manage and organise a document database and help to improve the tool and automate tasks (using artificial intelligence)
* Train our employees in the use and configuration of the document database
About you:
1. Bachelor''s degree, preferably with a literary focus, in information science, information and document, history, communication, etc., or in an area related to the energy industry
2. A predilection for topics linked to the energy transition and a solid intellectual curiosity (the subjects covered vary widely, such as understanding the arguments of environmental NGOs on carbon capture, monitoring Belgian elections, European green hydrogen regulations, e
