Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to lead our FINPRO team at Marsh Belux. This role will be based in one of the Marsh Belgium offices ( Brussels, Antwerp or Gent).
The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Head of Specialty Belux. We expect from the candidate a high-value advisory and broking (insurance placement) services to large and midsize corporate clients regarding the different FINPRO insurance lines such as Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Employment Practices Liability, Crime and Pension Trustee Liability.
We will count on you to:
1. Drive the acquisition of new clients directly or indirectly in collaboration with team members.
2. Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal and external referral sources and centers of influence.
3. Understand client business strategy and hence define insurance related requirements;
4. Build and maintain relationships with insurers and prospects;
5. Actively participate and support risk surveys carried out for clients;
6. Responsible for FINPRO budgets and targets.
7. Develop and execute FINPRO Specialty Strategy as aligned with the Company’s business plans.
8. Lead the development/execution of strategic initiatives and projects to proactively source and develop new business opportunities.
9. Administer and service portfolio of clients, retain, attract and expand business and address, and resolve day-to-day inquiries;
10. Cooperate with colleagues from other Marsh departments and MMC sister companies. Collaborate with other (foreign) Marsh offices to exchange knowledge, generate new business opportunities and deliver best solutions to the clients in the field of FINPRO business.
What you need to have:
11. Higher education, Bachelor or University Degree in Law, Economics or Insurance;
12. Sound technical understanding of key insurance classes and markets;
13. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, written and oral;
14. Fluency of written and spoken Dutch, French and English languages;
15. Highly developed management and client management skills;
16. Competent ability to achieve challenging goals trough organization and personal drive;
17. Experience in an insurance company or insurance broker is a plus;
