Responsibilities:
As a Technical Account Manager, you are the key contact for our clients and partners.
* Business Development & Sales
* Identify the expectations and needs of existing clients, considering market developments, regulatory changes, and legal requirements.
* Proactively prospect new clients in construction, industry, and related sectors.
* Propose improvements to existing services and suggest innovative new solutions.
* Contribute to the development of communication tools and materials tailored to client needs.
2. Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Act as a trusted advisor on certification and inspection solutions.
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Market Development & Analysis
* Analyze and monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory changes relevant to certification and inspection in the construction sector.
* Collaborate with technical experts to adapt offerings to market needs.
* Represent SECO Belgium and BCCA at events, trade fairs, and networking activities.
4. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
* Work closely with engineers, inspectors, certification experts, and the communications manager to deliver value to clients.
* Implement KPI-based follow-up and provide regular commercial reporting and forecasts to management.
What do we expect from the ideal candidate?
* Degree in commerce, engineering, construction, or equivalent experience
* At least 3 to 5 years of successful experience in commercial or technical B2B environments (certification, inspection, construction, engineering, or technical services).
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, systems, and existing certifications.
* An extensive network in the Belgian construction sector.
* Fluent communication in French, Dutch, and English (spoken & written).
* Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach and capable to work independently
* Digital skills (MS365, Salesforce, CRM, SAP, Adobe Suite).
