Our client is seeking a technical leader to drive process technology transfer and support manufacturing science activities across drug substance production.
Your Objectives:
As the MSAT Bio DS Process Tech Transfer Expert, you will be measured against the following objectives:
* Deliver successful end-to-end process technology transfers from development to manufacturing, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
* Ensure robust, scalable, and compliant drug substance processes through effective process validation and continuous improvement
* Support operational excellence by resolving complex technical issues and improving process performance using data-driven approaches
Your Responsibilities:
As the MSAT Bio DS Process Tech Transfer Expert, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Lead process technology transfer activities for drug substance manufacturing, ensuring alignment across development and production teams
· Provide technical expertise across upstream and downstream processing to support manufacturing operations
· Design and execute process validation and process characterisation studies in line with regulatory expectations
· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Quality, Manufacturing, and Development to ensure successful project delivery
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, robustness, and compliance
· Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues using structured, data-driven methodologies
· Support regulatory submissions and inspections by ensuring technical documentation is accurate and compliant
What you will bring:
These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the MSAT Bio DS Process Tech Transfer Expert:
· Significant experience in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) within biopharmaceutical manufacturing
· Proven track record in process technology transfer, process validation, and process characterisation
· Strong knowledge of drug substance manufacturing, including upstream and downstream processes
· Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a structured approach
· Master of Science (MSc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
· Experience working within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments
