Your job
We are looking for an experienced and highly driven finance professional to lead the Group Free Cash Flow management activities.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Free Cash Flow (FCF) management, a hands‑on approach, and a strong track record in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and translating complex data into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership.
As Group Free Cash Flow Team Lead, you will play a critical role in steering Proximus’ short‑, mid‑ and long‑term cash dynamics. You will be responsible for producing reliable FCF forecasts, designing cash flow models, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring that cash resources are optimally allocated in line with strategic priorities.
You will partner closely with Finance Business Partners, the Business Units, and corporate teams (Treasury, Tax, Accounting) to challenge assumptions, drive alignment, and support decision‑making at Executive Committee level. This role offers high visibility, significant impact, and the opportunity to influence major strategic decisions.
What you will do
1. Lead FCF and Net Debt forecasting (in‑year, 5‑year plan, 10-year outlook).
2. Build, maintain and enhance robust financial models supporting strategic decisions.
3. Translate complex financial data into clear stories, dashboards, and narratives tailored for Executive Committee and Board audiences.
4. Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs across the Group.
5. Challenge business assumptions with structured analyses and actionable insights.
6. Coordinate all cash‑related topics with Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Finance Business Partners.
7. Respond to ad‑hoc senior management requests with speed, precision and insight.
8. Manage and develop the Group Free Cash flow team.

9. 8–15 years’ experience in Finance, FCF management, controlling, corporate finance or consulting.
10. Strong expertise in Free Cash Flow mechanics and financial modelling (Excel, scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis).
11. Ability to structure complex problems and produce high‑quality analyses.
12. Strong communication and presentation skills — able to tell a compelling story from data.
13. Experience in Telco, investment-heavy industries, or capital allocation is a strong plus.
14. Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch
