Job Title Mechanical Project Engineer – Offshore Energy Projects – English required – ALTEN Belgium
As part of our continuous growth, ALTEN Belgium is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support large-scale offshore energy infrastructure projects in Belgium.
You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team and support the delivery of AC offshore substations, focusing on the engineering and execution of mechanical systems. You will contribute to design review, testing, and construction support activities to ensure technical quality and project readiness.
Support the mechanical engineering scope for offshore substations
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
Provide engineering support to construction and installation teams
Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, quality, HSE, contracting, and PMO teams
HVAC systems
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in EPC or large industrial projects
Experience in the offshore sector is a strong asset
Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
Languages
English: fluent professional level (required)
Dutch: asset
Permanent contract or long-term consultancy assignment
