Channel Account Specialist
Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, the Channel Account Specialist is responsible for supporting the regional sales team in cultivating meaningful and profitable sales activities to ensure the growth of existing Distributor Accounts. Additionally, this role will work with the Team to uncover, explore and close new Distributor Accounts. This person will be a passionate, proactive and reactive steward, protector, defender and driver of both the product brands and the corporate brand.
You have already accomplished (required):
* Must have the ability to speak and write English and French at a professional level. German, Italian and Spanish would also be an advantage.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field.
* Familiarity with using CRM systems.
* 2-3 years of experience with B2B sales and direct distributor account management.
* 2-3 years of knowledge of Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Addendum:
* Build positive business relationships to drive incremental top line revenue to plan with assigned distributor accounts across the three sales regions in Europe.
* Fielding customer enquiries regarding product availability, pricing, order status, shipment tracking, back orders etc.
* Provide sales support to Regional Sales Managers and customers.
* Execute effective new product launch efforts in support of the field sales team to achieve new product sales metric goals.
* Work collaboratively with the field sales team in assigned territory to meet/exceed sales goals through effective customer communications, lead follow up, territory planning and documented sales activity.
* Qualify and close assigned leads while understanding and using our sales process and tracks within NetSuite.
* Leads are obtained through the team’s distributor sales activity, end-user engagement, and trade show involvement.
* Assist Marketing and Operations teams on business needs as they pertain to sales growth, programs and products.
* Understand the use of technical specifications of our products and be able to engage in discussions about the merits and benefits of using the products:
* Remain abreast of competitors’ activities and respond quickly to what the competition is doing.
* Assist in providing training as needed, either face-to-face or virtually
* Manage and maintain customer pricing and program metrics.
* Monitor reports and document all standard price deviations.
* Administer and maintain Co-op and distributor rebate programs.
* Maintain and Update distributor pricing files with extensive use of data compilation.
* Opportunity to travel up to 25% annually to European industry trade shows and customer events.
* Occasional travel to the US headquarters may also be required.
