Objective:
You manage all activities that contribute to the successful handling of the administration in and around the accounting. You are jointly responsible for leading initiatives to automate and improve the financial process. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to implement innovative solutions that increase efficiency. You strive for optimal cooperation with other employees and management, and you are an essential link in supporting our organization in achieving its goals.
Job content:
* You are responsible for the daily entry of the purchase invoice file and other costs into the operational package. Banking transactions are also entered on a daily basis (supplier and customer payments);
* You are responsible for the follow-up and execution of payments to suppliers. Any reminders from suppliers are checked for accuracy, etc.;
* You file and follow up on declarations (VAT return, Intra-Community return, recovery of foreign VAT, customer list, etc.);
* You will contribute to the balance finishing, carry out checks and make adjustments where necessary;
* You provide support to your Assistant Accountants colleagues regarding VAT and accounting processing.
* Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation within the financial processes;
* Leading projects to implement new digital tools and systems;
* Optimizing existing financial systems and processes to improve efficiency;
* Training employees in the use of new digital tools and systems.
Your talents:
* You obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent through experience;
* You have already gained several years of experience in a similar position;
* You are number-minded and administratively strong;
* You have extensive knowledge of Excel and experience in setting up and improving financial software and SAP systems;
* Knowledge of SAP and Power-BI is a plus;
* Pronounced VAT experience/knowledge with strong interest;
