Your accountabilities:
1. Lead and own allocated Capital Projects from inception through to handover ensuring key phasing of Projects are identified and worked to, with compliance to internal project management business process systems and technical/engineering standards
2. Ensuring ALL capital projects are managed with absolute clarity and accuracy specifically via period update (tracked/reported and controlled throughout the project lifecycle:
Engineering Drawings / Specifications
Financial Control / Management
Project time plan
3. Lead Project Teams as appropriate for the size of each project ensuring adequate/appropriate resource allocation
4. Deliver the execution process to ensure standardized agile and rapid deployment of technical productivity & best practices
5. Ensure project start-up support and project handover to Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality and Safety.
6. Ensure post project reviews are undertaken – build lessons learnt into project process
The requested qualifications for this job include:
7. You have a masters degree with the ability to lead a multi discipline project, experience of managing or supervising internal teams and external contractors
8. You can train and influence others to ensure compliance to business processes, standards, adherence to project timelines and understanding of capital installations
9. You have excellent planning and organization skills – Ability to handle multiple work streams over parallel project timelines (individual projects varying between 3-12 months length)
10. You are computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, CAD –preferred)
11. Interpersonal skills with ability to influence at senior levels within the organization
12. You are all three: a team Player, a self-starter & self-motivating
13. You have proven leadership skills, decision making & communication abilities
