As a Warehouse Technical Supervisor, I ensure smooth, safe, and compliant operations by leading and developing my team, driving process improvements, and delivering accurate, timely support across all warehouse activities
Purpose of the Job
Leads and manages a dedicated group of warehouse clerks, ensuring accurate and efficient warehouse operations for their assigned work group (e.g., inbound, outbound, cleanroom supply, or shipments). Each Technical Supervisor is responsible for team performance, process improvement, safety, and compliance within their group.

Typically reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Core Relationships
Internal: Assigned warehouse clerks, other Technical Supervisors, imec employees, operations, engineer and research groups, hardware support groups, Supply Chain and Shipping department
External: Contractors, equipment suppliers, rigging companies, forwarders
Key Responsibilities
* Organize daily operations for the work group, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe handling of goods.
* Proposes improvements with respect to the daily tasks :Lead, coach, and develop the assigned group of warehouse clerks, managing performance and competence for current business needs.
* Oversee both physical and administrative aspects of warehouse tasks, ensuring compliance with procedures and legislation.
* Ensure cleanliness, order, and safety within the group's area.
* Support and encourage process improvements and cross-domain flexibility among clerks.
* Respond promptly to requests from management, internal customers, and external contacts.
* Assist in developing and updating procedures and standards for the group, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
* Cooperate with other Technical Supervisors to ensure alignment and best practices across all warehouse groups.
Typical Education/Expertise Required
* Technical or logistics degree (Bachelor or equivalent experience preferred)
* Experience in warehouse operations and team leadership
* You speak fluent Dutch and knowledge of English. A certificate for operation of an electric stacker and forklift driving license is a plus.
* You preferably have several years of experience in administrative processing, experience with SAP/ERP is a plus.
