Abrakam Entertainement
Abrakam is an independent studio in Liège, Belgium, founded on the belief that innovation is king in the fiercely competitive Steam market. We self-published our hit CCG Faeria in 2017 and saw success because of its fresh take on the genre. Now, we are working on a highly confidential project, a 4X light deckbuilder, and we are looking for a passionate Steam Growth Manager who shares our independent, do-or-die spirit.

Internship Description
To support this pivotal phase, we are looking for a Community Manager Intern who wants intensive, hands-on experience building and nurturing a game community from the ground up, with an independent, "do-or-die" mindset.
This is not a passive moderation role : you will be a core part of the launch team, learning directly from experienced developers and marketers in our small, autonomous studio, making a tangible impact on the game's success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Set up, animate, and grow our player community ahead and during our major launch.
* Participate in the daily, proactive management of our Discord, forums, and social channels.
* Engage deeply with players : answer questions, relay feedback, encourage discussion, and maintain a positive, independent tone that reflects our studio culture.
* Assist with the creation of compelling content : announcements, patch notes, dev updates, FAQs, and event posts.
* Help moderate discussions and ensure community rules are respected, fostering a positive, engaging environment.
* Collect and summarize critical community feedback to share directly with the development team, influencing the final product.
* Support major launch beats (announcement, demo, festivals, updates) from a strategic community perspective.
Candidate Profile
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Someone with a 6 months internship on-site starting in May / June
* Strong, demonstrated interest in strategy and/or deckbuilding genres, and for online communities.
* Excellent written communication skills in English (French is a plus).
* Comfortable interacting proactively and independently with players in public spaces (Discord, forums, social media).
* Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions or propose bold ideas for growth.
* Organized and reliable : you can follow up on tasks and keep track of complex discussions in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity and proficiency with Discord and standard community platforms.
* Good understanding of how game launches work (wishlists, demos, festivals).
Plusses
* Previous experience moderating or managing an online community (even voluntarily).
* Writing, storytelling, or content creation skills.
