As a Service Manager for Hybrid Cloud Storage, you will:
* Service Management: Oversee the planning, delivery, and management of hybrid cloud storage services, ensuring that all customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
* Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for integrating on-premises and cloud-based storage solutions to provide a seamless hybrid cloud environment.
* Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and service reliability.
* Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance, availability, and security of hybrid cloud storage systems, identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Service Optimization: Lead efforts to improve service performance, efficiency, and scalability of hybrid cloud storage solutions, proactively addressing issues before they impact customers.
* Incident & Problem Management: Manage and resolve incidents, service disruptions, and problems related to hybrid cloud storage systems, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
* Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with cloud architects, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to ensure that hybrid cloud storage services are designed, implemented, and maintained according to industry best practices.
* Documentation & Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation of service configurations, incidents, changes, and improvements. Provide regular performance reports and service reviews to senior management.
* Compliance & Security: Ensure that hybrid cloud storage services comply with industry regulations, security standards, and company policies.
* Cost Management: Monitor and manage the costs associated with hybrid cloud storage services, optimizing resource utilization to balance performance and cost-efficiency.
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
* Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in managing cloud storage solutions, hybrid cloud environments, or IT infrastructure services.
o Strong experience with cloud storage platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
o Proven track record of managing large-scale hybrid cloud storage implementations or migrations.
* Skills & Certifications:
o Experience with cloud service management platforms (e.g., AWS Storage Gateway, Azure Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
o ITIL Foundation or Service Management certification preferred.
o Familiarity with data security and compliance standards in cloud environments (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
o Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
o Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and with senior stakeholders.
o Certifications in cloud computing or cloud storage technologies are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
