Our client is an engineering firm specializing in several domains.
Structural engineering: Every application for a building permit must comply with strict energy standards. Before construction can begin, an EPB (Energy Performance of Buildings) reporter must be appointed. BIM: In a traditional construction process, a project is typically passed from one party to another. With BIM (Building Information Modeling), however, they transform the project directly into an integrated process.
Responsibilities
* Conducting structural analyses for projects of varying scale, from compact builds to large developments
* Performing on-site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
* Coordinating and overseeing construction projects within a dynamic and growing engineering environment
* Contributing to innovative ideas using your technical construction knowledge
* Collaborating closely with design and drafting teams to produce clear and complete tender and execution documentation
Qualifications
* A degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering (or equivalent through experience)
* Solid understanding of structural design principles, including load calculations, foundation techniques, and concrete and steel structures in line with applicable standards
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Experience with structural analysis software is considered an asset
