As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager - NGO - you will have the following responsibilities:
* Promote and uphold the organisation's vision
* Organise and coordinate the communication team's activities, ensuring team members are well trained, motivated, and aligned with objectives
* Supervise and manage marketing & Communications tools and platforms
* Develop and maintain external relations with partners
* Define, plan, and implement an effective marcom strategy
* Manage press relations and external communication partners
* Mobilise key marketing & communication stakeholders
* Create content and oversee the production and distribution of materials across various channels (website, magazine, social media, newsletters, advertising campaigns, etc.)
* Manage the marketing budget
* Develop partnerships
* Monitor marketing and digital trends
* Present regular updates on actions undertaken
* Produce monthly reporting and performance analysis for the marketing department
As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager, you have the following requirements:
* At least Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or equivalent experience
* At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience
* Passionate about marketing, digital environments, and new technologies
* Able to manage projects, budgets, and teams (leadership and teamwork skills)
* Strong command of office tools and digital marketing tools (Adobe Suite, video editing software, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.), web analytics, and marketing techniques
* Knowledge of various marketing channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and how to use them effectively depending on the target audience
* Excellent writing skills
* Knowledge of CMS platforms such as Drupal or WordPress
* Fluent in Dutch & French, with good command of English
* Strong analytical skills (ability to collect and interpret data)
* Ability to manage, coordinate, and multitask effectively
