Battery Recycling Specialist - English required - ALTEN Belgium
The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Battery Recycling Specialist to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As a Battery Recycling Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the 3R strategy (Remanufacture, Repurpose, Recycle) for BEV, PHEV, HEV, and FCEV batteries.
* Analysing battery lifecycle challenges
* Benchmarking battery recycling companies and evaluating their capabilities.
* Identifying key players in the battery-to-battery closed-loop value chain.
* Researching trends and technologies in battery recycling and remanufacturing.
* Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
* Collaborating with engineering teams on battery diagnostics and remanufacturing.
* Conducting market analysis on black mass supply and demand trends.
Your Profile:
* Degree in Electrical, Electrochemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
* Experience in high-voltage battery recycling, remanufacturing, or circular economy.
* Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, technologies, and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
