Job Description:
The Grosshans Group is a modern, nimble construction law firm based in Florida which is expanding to other states. We exclusively serve clients in the construction industry, both residential and commercial with a focus on efficient and high quality work.
We are seeking experienced construction litigation attorneys to join our growing team in various states targeted for expansion. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction law and litigation and will work cooperatively with our firm headquarters in Florida. A preexisting book of business is not required.
We provide the technology and support for our attorneys to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all aspects of construction litigation, mediation, arbitration and trial.
Assist clients in navigating issues arising through the construction process, including permitting, zoning, contract negotiations, liens and payment disputes.
Build and maintain network relationships with clients, colleagues, and other industry professionals.
Work cooperatively with our office in Florida to manage assigned caseload.
Keep up-to-date with changes in construction law and industry developments in your state.
Potentially manage a growing team as firm operations expand in your state.
Desire to engage and benefit your local community.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing with the state bar for Arizona, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.
5+ years of construction and litigation experience.
Some travel required.
No book of business is necessary.
