We Are Currently Looking For: Oracle Custom Apps Team Lead
Job location: Hybrid from Brussels
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Lead a team of developers in building custom applications using Oracle VBCS, APEX, OIC, JavaScript, REST APIs, and PL/SQL
* Define development standards, reusable components, and enforce coding best practices Solution Architecture & Design
* Collaborate with functional teams and solution architects to translate requirements into custom solutions
* Design integration and extension strategies aligned with Oracle SaaS upgrade guidelines Delivery & Coordination
* Manage task allocation, code reviews, technical validations, and deployment support
* Coordinate with data, integration, and reporting teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery Quality & Compliance
* Ensure that custom solutions meet performance, security, and Oracle compliance requirements
* Maintain documentation and technical traceability for audit and operational support Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a technical point of contact for client-side IT and architecture teams
* Provide estimates, feasibility assessments, and solution walk-throughs Mentorship & Team Development
* Mentor junior developers and support onboarding of new team members
* Promote continuous learning in new PaaS features and Oracle development tools
We Require:
* 8–10 years of experience in custom application development, with at least 2+ years in Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystem
* Strong expertise in Oracle APEX, VBCS, OIC, and Oracle SaaS APIs
* Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and JSON/XML
* Experience in secure, scalable design for SaaS/PaaS extensions
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
* Experience in SaaS ERP extension projects (Finance, Procurement, SCM)
* Familiarity with Oracle’s upgrade-safe customization guidelines
* Experience working in Agile delivery models with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD
* Oracle PaaS or Application Development certification is a plus
* Fluent in Dutch and French is a plus
* Able to work 2-3 days onsite at the office in Brussel
