Mission du poste
As a Transport Supervisor your responsibilities are:
- Set goals/objectives and oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring a strong planning for timely and accurate deliveries.
- Supervise and lead a team (+- 9 fte) of logistics and transport professionals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (like import, export, HQ) and external partners (like carriers / transport partners) to improve supply chain processes.
- Analyze transportation data and prepare reports for management.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.
A successful Transport Supervisor should have:
- Proven expertise in transport operations within the shipping industry.
- People management skills to manage and motivate a team of 9 fte effectively.
- Solid understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in using common software/ IT tools.
- Solid communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
