Introduction
For a leading organization based in Brussels, we are creating a brand-new role: UX Conversation & Agentic Designer. This position sits at the intersection of UX, AI, and service design, and focuses on shaping how customers and employees interact with AI-powered systems across multiple touchpoints.
You will design intelligent, human, and trustworthy conversational experiences that blend automation with meaningful human collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Design, optimize, and maintain conversational flows for chatbots, voice assistants, and multimodal interfaces.
* Create conversation design systems, reusable dialogue patterns, and conversation maps.
* Define AI personas, personality frameworks, and tone-of-voice guidelines.
* Design natural, inclusive, and multi-turn conversations across chat and hybrid channels.
* Define agentic flows where AI detects intent, collaborates with humans, and proactively resolves issues.
* Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative validation of conversational experiences.
* Prototype and test conversational concepts to improve clarity, empathy, and efficiency.
* Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to improve natural language understanding and interaction logic.
* Work with Business and UX Service Designers to embed conversational touchpoints into broader user journeys.
* Implement analytics, KPIs, and metrics to measure and optimize conversation performance.
* Document user journeys, conversation logic, and design decisions clearly for stakeholders.
Experience & Competences
* Minimum 3 years of experience designing conversational interfaces, chatbots, or AI-driven experiences.
* Proven expertise in conversational design and copywriting, with strong sensitivity to tone and emotional context.
* Hands-on experience with tools such as Voiceflow, Botpress, Dialogflow, or similar platforms.
* Solid foundational UX skills and the ability to translate technical logic into intuitive user experiences.
* Proficient with collaboration and design tools such as FigJam, Miro, or Mural.
* Comfortable working with data, KPIs, feasibility assessments, and performance analysis.
* Experience coaching or supporting product and design teams in conversational or UX practices.
* Background in UX, behavioural design, growth hacking, or related disciplines.
* Familiarity with AI-powered products, enterprise software, and human–AI collaboration models.
* Knowledge of agentic design, adaptive AI, orchestration, or prompt architecture is a strong asset.
* Fluent in English, with a good command of Dutch or French.
