Job Title: Wireless Network Optimization Engineer (4G/5G)
Job Summary:
The RF Network Optimization Engineer is responsible for improving the performance, capacity, and quality of mobile networks (LTE/4G and NR/5G). This role involves analyzing network KPIs, identifying issues, and implementing optimization strategies to enhance user experience and network efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze network performance KPIs (e.g., accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput)
* Perform optimization for 4G LTE and 5G NR networks
* Conduct drive tests and post-processing analysis using tools like TEMS, Nemo, or similar
* Identify coverage and capacity issues and propose solutions (tilt, azimuth, parameter tuning)
* Optimize parameters such as handovers, power control, load balancing, and interference mitigation
* Support network rollout, integration, and acceptance activities
* Analyze OSS data and generate performance reports
* Work closely with RF planning, transmission, and core network teams
* Troubleshoot customer complaints and network degradation issues
* Ensure SLA compliance and continuous network improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* Experience with RF optimization and performance tuning
* Experience with major vendors (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE) is a plus
* 3–7+ years in wireless network optimization or RF engineering
* Advanced English
* Work on site mode
