We are looking for an experienced Operational IT Architect to support the evolution of a complex information system and strengthen overall IT governance, documentation and security. The consultant will work across infrastructure, operations and architecture teams to structure processes, standardise documentation, improve asset visibility and ensure that security and performance requirements are embedded across the entire IT environment. The mission requires strong analytical and organisational capabilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

* Duration: Full-time mission, starting ASAP long-term, typically 12 months + potential extension
Responsibilities:
• Improve operational governance and clarify processes across infrastructure and operations.
• Optimise incident management and vulnerability management workflows.
• Define and structure roles and responsibilities within the IT organisation.
• Centralise, formalise and maintain technical and application architecture documentation.
• Ensure coherence and alignment between all layers of the information system.
• Integrate performance, resilience and security requirements into architectural models.
• Enhance visibility of IT/OT assets by improving inventories and mapping technical zones.
• Extend architectural oversight to satellite sites and associated systems.
• Draft project briefs for infrastructure evolution initiatives.
• Support project prioritisation based on operational needs, architectural standards and security requirements.
• Guide teams in applying best practices and support them during implementation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT with experience in IT architecture, infrastructure or technical project management.
• Strong understanding of operational IT environments: systems, networks, identities, endpoints, cloud, monitoring.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory frameworks, including NIS2.
• Ability to structure, organise and coordinate transversal activities in complex environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical teams and decision-makers.
• Perfect command of French, written and spoken.
