Job Description:
Lead the Local activations for Royal Canin within the Pet Specialty Retail channel. You wil be in charge of the full proces and resposible for succesfull deployment within the BeNelux markets. This means you will lead but also actively participate in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a defined plan of activities including communications, promotions and other projects to achieve business objectives.
The team consists of 2 Portfolio Activation Managers and 2 to 3 marketing support roles that all work for the full Benelux cluster. Support will be shared across roles but you will brief and coach them to deliver great results.
What will be your key responsibilities?
1. Develop and implement promotional activities, including initiatives that support brand objectives.
2. To regularly analyze sales and market audit data, consumer opinion research and other brand metrics to analyze brand health.
3. Collaborate with account marketing and other departments to develop best-in-class promotional materials.
4. Develop recommendations to support existing brand strategy
5. Track adherence to brand budgets and effectively manage the accountable budget.
6. Collaborate with CMI on research projects, gathering ideas and/or testing new concepts
What kind of candidate are we looking for?
7. Bachelor's Degree.
8. 2+ years of professional marketing experience.
9. Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
10. Advanced MS office user.
11. Fluency in English, and Dutch. French is an additional asset
